Well… I think it’s going to be OK. WoW Classic was created back in the day where Blizzard was still good firm. New Blizz didn’t want to even hear about making classic gold wow, even after people have been requesting it long time and reacted by things like:”you feel you desire it, however, you don’t!” Once they saw player numbers decreasing in wow, and relise the popularity of private servers (who operate patch 1.12 the majority of the time), just then have they believed this might be a good way to find a little excess subscribtion money with very litle work as WoW Classic already exists.
And that I think Blizz would seem silly if they shifted the WoW Classic match. Because, why launch WoW Classic if it’s no longer the same match, and second, changing WoW Classic would require more resources and work, thus increasing cost. And of course changes could be risky as players don’t want them (and they know it). Think about it this way – the less they operate on it, the greater WoW Classic will be recieved – now what firm would pass on that? Imo we will observe substantial class replacements, exploits, raids being cleared quite quickly, etc.. Ofc we will get all the fantastic stuff with Vanilla, but we’ll also receive all the bad stuff back, and Blizz will not alter some of it.
You want sense? They want profit – and they’re losing it by losing a fantastic portion of hc players. I will be surprised if they division wow following releasing WoW Classic – retail for casuals and whole new dev for hc players. Retail with WoW traditional philosophy – nah its too late for that, I think there are people that enjoy current content more than we think, and they dont want to shed their money. The only problem regarding category changes is – I am not sure how are they going to handle pvp and pve equilibrium of each class if they start doing this, and would they bother, atleast at the start of WoW Classic, a lot of things will be set by just how a lot of people would play it – if they see extra gain , they will develop WoW Classic further in the WoW Classic manner, but never retail.
I perform on a personal server, the community is just one of the big benefits you play WoW Classic for. This alone gives you pleasure and fun in WoW Classic. Folks will not only play rogue/warry/mage/wl because the loot is not personal. You want to have hunters to pick up the email items. A whole mage/wl raid will be poorer because you lose out on all the class items or mail items which will drop. Classes have specific functions like shaman only cure, tank only warry. But this was the exact same in WoW Classic and it had been fine for most of the people. WoW Classic hardcore with best classic wow gold site, retail casual. I think that it will be another way around. Retail obtained mythic+ and fresh endgame content where you race to world firsts. WoW Classic will be a lot of people that want to relive their expertise from when they’re young, take it slow and revel in.
